The validity of the verification expires annually. You must do this every year to ensure your access to adult-only titles.

What you need

You need to be a foreigner.
You need one clear image of your identification document (passport, identity card, driver’s license).
You need a RIDI account.
- You can easily create an account with the page translated via Google Translate in your browser.
- If possible, when you create the account and you need to enter your “name”, enter the full name that is the same as your identification document. On RIDI, only your ID will appear publicly with your comments or reviews.

The image of your ID must show your full name and birthdate.

Please redact the rest (including the image of your face) by censoring with blur/pixellation or covering them with black rectangles.

Ensure you are logged in to ridibooks.com.
Go to the 1:1 Enquiry ticket page for age verification, here.
Fill in the form (with the page translated via Google Translate in your browser, if you need it). Don’t forget to attach your identification document image file.
Submit the form and wait. You should receive an email from “[email protected]” indicating “해외 거주고객 성인 인증 접수가 완료되어 안내드립니다” (we have received your request for age verification). It should take up to 3 working days to complete.
To know if your application was processed and successful, you should already be able to see and access adult-only titles on RIDI. You can also check your support ticket status here.
